The Edinburgh Schools Singing Programme is run by the Cathedral to provide free weekly singing tuition to P4 classes in state primary schools, and forms part of the National Schools Singing Programme.

 

The classes are led by our Schools Choral Director and Director of Music. There are also two free ESSP after-school choirs which rehearse weekly, in Edinburgh West and Edinburgh South-West. 

 

The schools and choirs have regular performance opportunities, including here at St Mary's Cathedral.
