About

Pontius Pilate - weak, pig-headed or a calculating political operator?  In her sermon last Sunday, the Vice Provost spoke about Pilate, suggesting that in common with the rest of humanity, he was a complex and complicated character.  Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from Dr Margaret Williams, Honorary Research Fellow at New College, about what we can learn from sources other than the New Testament to fill out the picture of this important character in the Passion narrative. Margaret will give an illustrated talk on Sunday 6 April, 12 noon – 1pm, in the Resurrection Chapel (following the 10:30am service).
