Max Carsley, the Cathedral's Assistant Organist, plays Marcel Dupré's 'Symphonie Passion', based on his own improvisations on various well-known hymn tunes. This recital will immediately follow the Palm Sunday Choral Evensong (at 3:30pm).


This organ symphony is in four movements:

  1. Le Monde Dans L’Attente Du Saveur (The World Awaiting the Savior)

  2. Nativité (Birth)

  3. Crucifixion

  4. Résurrection
