Messiaen - La Nativité du Seigneur

Join us after Evensong on Sunday 18th December for a performance of Olivier Messiaen's great organ cycle 'La Nativité du Seigneur' given by Assistant Director of Music, Imogen Morgan. The cycle reflects on the Christmas story, from the Virgin and Child through to the epic toccata 'Dieu parmi nous' - God with us. The performance will be interspersed with Bible readings and accompanied by images of a series of paintings created in response to the cycle by Revd. Ally Barrett.
