This long-running and very popular series of lunchtime recitals features a wide variety of performers, playing and singing in one of Edinburgh's most beautiful concert spaces. These concerts are free by donation, and a perfect way to spend a lunchtime during the busy festival!

Serenade in E-flat........... W. A. Mozart (1756-1791)

Serenade in D minor............ A. Dvorak (1841-1904)

Biography

Sinfonia Chamber Players was formed in 2010 and is drawn mainly from principal players in Scottish Sinfonia -a full sized symphony orchestra of ninety musicians.. The ensemble is of flexible size and constitution, depending upon the requirements of the repertoire being performed. The group has performed at The National Gallery of Scotland, The Linlithgow Arts Guild, St. Giles' Cathedral in addition to several appearances at the Cathedral Church of St. Mary. We are delighted to have been invited back to perform at St. Marys this August.
