This long-running and very popular series of lunchtime recitals features a wide variety of performers, playing and singing in one of Edinburgh's most beautiful concert spaces. These concerts are free by donation, and a perfect way to spend a lunchtime during the busy festival!

Biography

Charles Wooler is a familiar face as an organ recitalist whose performances have taken him across almost all areas of the United Kingdom, including solo performances in Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Liverpool Cathedral and Blenheim Palace. Charles' repertoire is wide-ranging and includes major works from all of the most important schools of organ music: upcoming projects include complete performances of all six of Louis Vierne's organ symphonies and Bach's Trio Sonatas.

Over the years, Charles has benefited from tuition from: Kevin Bowyer, Daniel Cook, Adrian Davis, David Goode, James Lancelot, James Parsons and Keith Wright.
