As the light returns and plants are starting to be coaxed out of the ground once more, we invite you to join Alette Willis for a creative morning designing a herb plot for our community garden. Alette is a student of Herbology at the Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh, where she created a garden for eco-anxiety. She will bring her insights and a plant list to St Mary's, along with some paper and pens.
She will introduce us to plant helpers, many of which you will already know as kitchen herbs or decorative garden plants, while others may be friends you have not yet met. Together we will plan a plot that showcases plants that can help us with the climate crisis in three ways:
