About Imperial College Wind Band

Imperial College Wind Band is a welcoming and friendly group of woodwind, brass and percussion players, rehearsing and performing a range of modern and classical music each term. No audition is required to join and we aim to provide a challenge to all players over each term through a variety of pieces.
We perform in termly concerts, supplemented by external social and musical events and an annual international summer tour. Activities in recent years have included rehearsal weekends to Oxford, tours to Prague, Munich and Ljubljana and a performance in the RCM's Britten Theatre. We have performed in venues ranging from village halls to the famous beer hall Hofbräuhaus to a rugby stadium in front of over a thousand spectators.
