About Bedford Modern School

The Bedford Modern School Music Faculty caters for academic music teaching in addition to providing instrumental and vocal lessons for around 375 students. It excels in co-Curricular music: students of all abilities and interests are catered for with organised activities running every break, lunch time and sometimes after school. These include a symphony orchestra, string orchestra, choirs, dance band, jazz band and various chamber groups for string, wind, percussion and brass players. The music department encourages and promotes student-led groups, and there is a thriving after-school band scene at BMS. More here.
