The West End Ensemble consists of Europe's finest musicians. Together they give their interpretation of traditional and contemporary tangos. All virtuosos in their own right, their music enlivens and enriches the audience's experience of the erotic passion of tango. The musicians are an emotive element in an intricate and symbiotic relationship between music, sensuality of dance and poetry of the songs , which is Argentine tango.

Seven Argentine tangos by Astor Piazzolla, concluding with a Scottish ballad by Phil Cunningham. All pieces arranged by for accordion and piano by Shane Brogan and John Richards.
