The Scottish Clarinet Choir was formed in January 2019 under the directorship of John Cushing (former Principal Clarinet of RSNO) and is made up of professional players, teachers, students and amateurs from all over Scotland. They have performed with prestigious guest soloists Yann Ghiro, (Principal Clarinet, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra), Katherine Bryan (Principal Flute, RSNO), and Nicolas Baldeyrou, (Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra and world-renowned soloist). They have given world premieres of pieces composed especially for them (most recently “Let Your Mind Wander”, by Adam Lee).

The Choir rehearses monthly at the Queen Victoria School in Dunblane and has performed in venues across Scotland. They enjoy rehearsing and performing a varied repertoire by a wide range of composers.
