St Mary’s College Chapel Choir
St Mary’s College Chapel Choir is comprised of both undergraduate and postgraduate students from Durham University. Performing fortnightly services for St Mary’s College Chapel, the choir also perform around the Durham community, including an annual Carol Service at Durham Cathedral. The choir enjoy a range of choral music, not only preparing for chapel services, but also evenings of art in college such as ‘Poetry and Music’ evenings. The choir are currently on their summer tour in Edinburgh, finishing the academic year. The choir has been directed by Jasmine Margalit for the previous two years and she has just completed her undergraduate degree in Music at Durham. The choir’s accompanist, Jessica Stephenson has completed her undergraduate degree in Classics, while maintaining her passion for music through her role as the assistant Director of Music.
