About

Our annual Nativity Service celebration is back for all pre-school and primary children. Spread the word and bring along your children to be part of a retelling of the Nativity story as you’ve never heard or seen it before The Donkey’s Gift!

The donkey has been on a long journey with Mary and Joseph, and now they’re all tired.  All the donkey wants is to enjoy some tasty hay and settle down for a sleep in the stable.  But first a baby is born and ends up sleeping in the donkey’s hay, and then lots of visitors keep arriving to see the new baby!  Will any of them ever notice the donkey?!

Come along, join in by getting dressed up as your favourite character, and be part of this extraordinary story. There will be lots of different costumes ready at the cathedral or alternatively, children are welcome to come already dressed up – angels, shepherds, sheep, donkeys, inn-keepers, wise women and men are all welcome!

There will also be some carol singing, and tasty refreshments afterwards for everyone.  We look forward to seeing you!
