Mark the start of Advent - the four-week season that leads us up to Christmas - with this annual service of Music and Words.
Epitomised by the beauty, austerity and mystery of light glowing in the darkness, Advent is the great season of waiting - both for the coming of Christ as a baby at Christmas, and in his Resurrection - which we celebrate later on at Easter.
This dramatic, introspective, uplifting and mystical service will feature beautiful music sung by our renowned Cathedral Choir, as well as short, seasonal reflective readings.
Free entry and all are welcome. No need to book, but this service is likely to be busy and there are no reserved seats.
