Friends of the Cathedral

The Friends of St Mary’s Cathedral are people who care for the Cathedral building and grounds, and would like to find ways to support the Cathedral’s work.

 

Members enjoy a number of benefits including: social activities, talks and outings; annual reports and other mailings; and attendance at the AGM with an opportunity to influence the way our funds are used.

 

The Friends’ membership subscriptions, donations and legacies have supported many projects that have helped to preserve and enhance the Cathedral, its amenities and its world-renowned music. Recent grants have included:

 

The Friends of St Mary’s Cathedral also keep in touch with similar Friends’ organisations attached to other Cathedrals across the UK, to share examples of the best ways to support these unique buildings.

To join The Friends, please complete the form below. Membership is open to all, and costs just £20p.a. for individuals or £40p.a. for corporate members such as churches.
