This long-running and very popular series of lunchtime recitals features a wide variety of performers, playing and singing in one of Edinburgh's most beautiful concert spaces. These concerts are free by donation, and a perfect way to spend a lunchtime during the busy festival!

Biography

Aquillos Winds were formed over 15 years ago and have performed many times in Edinburgh and further afield. Many of our performances can be viewed on YouTube, including a memorable concert given at St Mary's of the Shostakovich Quartet No. 11 arranged by David Walter. All of the musicians are regular players with several orchestras in Edinburgh, but some also play in the newly formed Borders Chamber Orchestra.
