Choral Evensong - Holy Comforter Choir

Evensong is a living tradition of Episcopal Church, going back hundreds of years.  This reflective service of words and music, sung today by the Holy Comforter Choir from Charlotte, North Carolina, is a way to worship God, to quietly pray together, and to close the day.

The Choir of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter is a volunteer ensemble of 40 adults and undergraduate Choral Scholars from Charlotte, NC. The choir sings weekly for Holy Eucharist during the program year (September-May), monthly for Choral Evensong, and for special liturgies throughout the year, including All Saints’ Day, Advent Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve, and Holy Week.
