Weddings

St Mary’s is a beautiful place to get married, and lends itself well to both small and larger scale weddings held in different areas of the building.

From 2022, Phoebe Anna Traquair’s Song School will also be a wedding venue, alongside its use as a regular rehearsal space for choristers. Some areas of the mural are currently covered in facing tissue to protect them until the restoration is completed later this year.

Baptisms

We are very happy to baptise children and newcomers into the Christian faith. Baptisms usually take place in our Cathedral Eucharist on Sunday at 1030. Please contact the Cathedral Clergy via the Cathedral Office (as below).
