Nine Lessons and Carols

Come and celebrate Christmas at St Mary’s Cathedral with the traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols. A chance to listen, sit, reflect and worship together, as we listen to Bible readings and the Choir of St Mary’s Cathedral singing various Christmas hymns and carols.
We are asking people to reserve a ticket for this service, since it is usually so busy. This is still a Christian service, and so you may reserve a free ticket if you prefer. Your purchase is a donation which goes towards the running of the Cathedral and the Choir, and we do not ask for any donation at the service. Tickets can be reserved here:

Seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Queues for this event tend to start from 6:30pm, and we advise arriving by 7:15pm at the latest to be guaranteed entry by the beginning of the service. Some seats have restricted views.
