About
Sixteen years ago, the Edinburgh playwright Jo Clifford wrote a play, Jesus, Queen of Heaven, that reimagines the Gospels through Jesus returning to earth as a transgender woman. Since then, the play has evolved and adapted as it has been performed in a number of venues, including churches, both in the UK and internationally.
Before a performance of the play in the Cathedral on Sunday 31st August, Jo Clifford, Marion Chatterley and John Conway will explore in this conversation some of the questions that have arisen as a result of the Supreme Court decision on gender identity. There will be an opportunity to ask questions (anonymously if preferred) and to explore the impact of the decision on our communities.
