The Cathedral is unique in Scotland in maintaining daily sung services.

On weekdays and Sunday afternoons (except when the choir is on holiday) this involves the singing of Evensong. This traditional service is a re-working of the monastic evening office, following the order in the Scottish Prayer Book.

On Sunday morning the sung Cathedral Eucharist at 10.30 follows the 1982 liturgy of the Scottish Episcopal Church. It aims to be welcoming, formal without being stuffy, and uplifting: it is moderate catholic in style. Various activities for children aged 0-12 are provided.

The other services listed use the Scottish Episcopal Church's Daily Prayer and the 1982 Liturgy unless otherwise stated.
