It has been too dark in recent days: the events in Brussels, the events that led to the guilty verdict of Radovan Karadzic in the Hague to offer but two examples. The Crucified God of Golgotha is the same God whose Paschal (or Easter) Candle burns in the Cathedral in the centre of the Nave as an icon, a sign, that his light shines out in the darkness, has overcome the darkness, is with us.
Each day the Cathedral’s doors are open, offering a time to be still, a time for a prayer to be said, a candle to be lit.
