Mark Harris joined the Cathedral staff in 2010. After the two years as Vice-Provost, he has changed roles to be the Lecturer in Science and Religion at the University of Edinburgh, but remains at the Cathedral as the Precentor. The post of Vice-Provost is currently vacant. Mark is married to Harriet (Chaplain to the University of Edinburgh and with a commission to the Cathedral), and they have four young children.
