The three spires of St Mary's, dominating the skyline of the West End of Edinburgh are clearly visible as you look west along Princes St. The cathedral's main entrance is on Palmerston Place, some ten to fifteen minutes' walk from the West End of Princes St, and five minutes from Haymarket Station. Numerous buses from Lothian Buses stop near the bottom of Palmerston Place, on Haymarket Terrace, a few hundred yards from the Cathedral. |
