walpole hall PDF Print E-mail

The Walpole Hall, the northernmost of the buildings adjoining the Cathedral, was designed by Robert Lorimer and J.F. Matthew and completed in 1933 after Lorimer's death. It houses the Sunday Groups, Robins and Junior Youth Groups on Sundays and is the congregational meeting place where coffee is served after the Sunday Eucharist. It is also used by various outside groups, and for congregational functions and other informal events. Please contact the Cathedral Office for more details and bookings.
