The Cathedral plays an active role in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, hosting numerous concerts, exhibitions and events. During a two-week period in August, there are daily choral services; there are recitals on the Father Willis Organ, and the Cathedral Choir performs a number of concerts.  Throughout the month of August (daily except Sundays) the Cathedral runs a series of Lunchtime Recital at 1.10pm. These mainly feature young performers, many from the world's top music academies, and are free and unticketed. The Cathedral also plays host to concerts and events organised by other performers and groups. For information on performing at the Catehdral, please contact the Cathedral Office.
